HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL -On Friday Sept.23, the Lady Pirates will host Riverside Christian game time is 6PM. On Sept. 27, the girls volleyball team will travel to Klickitat for a game beginning at 6PM. On Sept. 29, the team will go to Goldendale H.S. to play their "C" squad at 5:30 and then on Sept. 30 the team will play at Mabton at 6PM. NOTE: The girls volleyball game that was previously set for Oct. 15, at home against Lyle, has been moved to Oct. 13 at home.

CROSS COUNTRY-On Saturday Sept. 24, the team will travel to Highland for a meet beginning at 10AM. The team will then travel to Royal for a meet on September 27, at 4PM. On Sat. October 1, the cross country team will go to Pasco to compete in the "Big Cross" meet at 10:30AM. Go Pirates!

HUNTER EDUCATION CLASS-Chris Venema will be teaching a hunters education class from September 26-30 from 5-7PM in the high school music room. Those students or adults interested need to contact Chris Venema at 830-8567, or stop by the shop after school hours.

BUS RIDERSHIP WEEK-Bus Ridership Week will run from October 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. During this week all students that ride a regular bus route are asked to do so. Students must get on the bus at their regular stop and ride to the school in order to count them on the report.. The money generated from this annual report, funds our sports programs and also field trips that are taken.

NATIONAL SCHOOL ASSEMBLY-The first National School Assembly is set for Thursday October 13, at 2PM and the program is entitled "Fitness For Life" . The community is welcome to attend these free assemblies.
